The APPI 2009 data collection spreadsheet (format: MS Excel, file size: 741 KB)
The spreadsheet requests information relating to six land-use types in six corresponding tabs: residential, retail, employment (office/industrial), leisure and hotels, education and health. Under each tab, details of permissions, completions, allocations, re-developments, demolitions and windfalls on a site-by-site basis should be provided. For each site, a range of information is to be completed including site name and reference, developer, grid-reference, quantity (dwellings) or area (sqm) of development, development density, type, development period and details of previous land-use or demolition (as appropriate). Please Note: if your organization holds this data in another potentially compatible electronic format or in GIS format, we would encourage you to contact us in the first instance to determine the form of your submission.
- The APPI 2009 data collection questionnaire (format: MS Word, file size: 419 KB)
The questionnaire seeks information about the scale and distribution of development occurring beyond the period of published plans, allocations and permissions. It contains a series of questions eg: The overall level of future development in period to 2032; The broad areas where greenfield development is likely to take place; The broad areas where brownfield development is likely to take place etc.
As part of the questionnaire we are looking for a considered response that takes account of longer term thinking on the development of your area, National policy (Scottish Planning Policy statements) and the 'best view' at this moment in time.
