Feedback process

After the data have been collected from all Planning Authorities, there will be a two-stage feedback and approval process outlined below:

1) In feedback stage 1 (to end of March 2010), all Planning Authorities will be sent a Draft final dataset and LATIS Consultation Note showing development profiles implied by the data provided. We will pose a number of questions and clarifications for Planning Authorities to answer before the dataset is finalised. The final dataset and a LATIS Review Note will be published to a secure website firstly, for Strategic Planning Authority review and, later, for all Planning Authorities to view.

2) In feedback stage 2 (to end of April 2010), all Planning Authorities will be sent a second LATIS Consultation Note which will contain details of the development profile and distribution of that development beyond the period of published plans on the basis of information provided in the APPI 2009 Questionnaire. Planning Authorities will have the opportunity to revise this forecast before it is published online for all other planning authorities to view.

Neither the Consultation Notes nor Final Datasets will be made available to the public. Note also, that the final dataset and projections will not be construed as official Planning Authority policy.
