Feedback process

After the data have been collected from each of the Planning Authorities, there is a two-stage feedback and approval process outlined below:

1) In feedback stage 1, all Planning Authorities are sent a Draft dataset and LATIS Consultation Note showing development profiles implied by the data provided. The consultation Note may pose a number of questions and clarifications for Planning Authorities to answer before the dataset is finalised. The final dataset and a LATIS Review Note are then provided to each Strategic Planning Authority for review and, later, for all Planning Authorities.

2) In feedback stage 2, all Planning Authorities are sent an updated LATIS Consultation Note which contains details of the development profile and distribution of that development beyond the period of published plans on the basis of information provided in the APPI Questionnaire. Planning Authorities have the opportunity to comment on this forecast before it is finalised. Thereafter, the information is published online for each planning authority.

Note that the final dataset and projections will not be construed as official Planning Authority policy.
