Existing data collection
The current data collection focuses on:
Additional TMfS:07 data including:
- inter-urban origin-destination bus surveys;
- bus-based Park and Ride origin-destination surveys;
- roadside interviews (RSIs) to cover known RSI gaps;
- ferry demand data and RSIs on routes to ports; and
- 2005-2007 SRTDb traffic count and speed data, which was used in the calibration of TMfS:07 and the Forth Model.
Additional Forth Regional model including:
- a stated preference survey exploring attitudes to car sharing; and
- an infrastructure review and data collection (most notably parking) at key locations in the Forth Valley - ie South Fife, West Edinburgh and around the Forth bridgehead.
