Land-Use and Transport Integration in Scotland

User Group Days

The User Group events feature a collection of current and potential users of the LATIS Service. The are well attended by such organisations as Transport Scotland, the Scottish Government, Scottish Local Authorities, Regional Transport Partnerships, consultants and other interested parties.

The aim of the User group is to provide a forum for the use of LATIS that encourages shared knowledge and interaction between stakeholders leading to robust transport and land-use solutions for Scotland.

User Group Days are normally held bi-annually and provide an excellent opportunity to find out about what is happening in the LATIS service in terms of developments, applications, support etc - from both the LATIS Team and other LATIS users. It is also an opportunity for the LATIS Team to gauge opinion on LATIS and canvas actual and potential users on their current modelling, planning and data requirements and future aspirations.

User Group Day: Monday 7 February

The last Land-Use and Transport Integration in Scotland (LATIS) User Group Day was held in the Royal Concert hall, Glasgow on Monday 7 February. In addition to presentations, workshops were also held which discussed the potential future of the LATIS service.

Presentations and further information from the day can be found in Publications.

Please contact us at LATIS@transportscotland.gsi.gov.uk to receive invites to future user group events.
